Infrapatellar neuralgia
Persistent, often burning pain in the front
of your knee. It may be result of infrapatellar nerve (one of the
sensory nerves to the knee) entrapment or direct injury to the nerve
after knee trauma or surgery (e.g. Total Knee Replacement or
arthroscopy).
This pain may respond well to a nerve block
with the Mixture of Local Anaesthetic and Steroids which is usually done
in Out-patient clinic during your appointment.
