Lumbar plexus block
An injection to the back where nerves
supplying sensation to the hip joint emerge from the spine. It is used
to treat pain coming from the diseased hip joint. This procedure
involves placing the medications into the muscles close to the kidney
therefore making it helpful in some types of loin pain
