Peritrochanteric bursitis
It is a term used to name a syndrome that
features pain and tenderness on the outside of your hip. Pain often
radiates down to your knee along the front or side of your thigh or up
to a buttock. It may cause difficulty in walking and sleeping on the
side. It usually responds well to simple pain killers such as Neurofen
or Diclofenac although in resistant cases you could need a steroid
injection which often brings quick and dramatic relief.
