Prostatitis

Chronic prostatitis is a common condition that affects men of all ages and ethnic groups. Prostatitis is inflammation of the prostate (a gland beneath the bladder that produces components of semen).

Patients with chronic prostatitis often complain of pelvic or perineal pain aggravated by sitting, passing urine and ejaculation, frequency on passing urine and occasionally blood in semen.
